I don't know which I like better, the practical advice or the gorgeous pictures.
Jes shows you how to plan a menu, select the music, invite the guests, and mostly how to have fun while making sure your guests have fun too. Her voice -- warm, funny, friendly and wise -- comes through in all her wonderfully imaginative instructions.
And the pictures! The amazing floral sculptures, the lucious table spreads, the cool decor. I could just page through and admire the pix again and again.

jes has written a great book that is informative and fun....all in one. the photos are great and the tips shared are even greater. if anyone wishes to "raise the bar" in party and event planning....jes' book is a "must" read.
